The League of Women Voters of Tarrant County is a nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to all people 16 and older who support the mission and policies of the League.

With over 100 years of experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations.

Voter Registration

We deploy Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) across Tarrant County, allowing eligible voters to register to vote at community event. Volunteer to register voters with the League or request a VDR at your next event.

Candidate Forums

Every election year, we host educational public forums with candidates running for office in Tarrant County. All candidates are asked to participate. We need volunteers to moderate, keep time, and collect audience questions.

Our Committees are where the real work happens. Voter Services educates local voters while our issues committees like the Redistricting and Environmental committees advocate for good government policies that benefit the residents of Tarrant County.
